My eighth grade English teacher recited this line to me when she found out that I am gay.
Her name was Ms. Salsbury. She told that kids would make fun of her too by calling her Salisbury steak with macaroni and cheese. But now look at her, consoling a 13 gay boy with a line from a book that most people use to hurt him.
